Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC) to ensure it’s hot enough for roasting the cauliflower steaks to a golden finish.
- Prepare cauliflower steaks: Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower head and slice it into 1-inch thick steaks carefully, preserving the core to keep them intact.
- Season the steaks: Drizzle olive oil evenly over both sides of each cauliflower steak. Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to coat them thoroughly for a flavorful crust.
- Initial baking: Arrange the seasoned cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20 minutes to soften and begin roasting the vegetable.
