Description

Deliciously crispy bacon chicken ranch wraps combine tender cooked chicken, smoky bacon, melted cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and creamy ranch dressing all rolled in a warm, toasted flour tortilla. This easy-to-make wrap is perfect for a quick lunch or satisfying dinner, featuring fresh romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes for a refreshing crunch.

Ingredients

Scale

Wrap Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

Wraps and Cooking

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil for toasting

Instructions

  1. Prepare Wrap Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, ranch dressing, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to evenly coat all ingredients with the ranch dressing and spices.
  2. Assemble Wraps: Lay each of the four large flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Spoon the chicken and bacon mixture evenly onto the center of each tortilla. Then, top each with shredded romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes to add a fresh crunch.
  3. Roll Wraps: Fold in the sides of each tortilla over the filling, then roll tightly from one edge to the other, forming a secure wrap that keeps the filling contained.
  4. Toast Wraps: Heat butter or olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam side down into the skillet to prevent them from unrolling. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until the tortillas turn golden brown and crispy, and the cheese inside melts.
  5. Serve: Remove the wraps from the skillet, slice each in half diagonally, and serve warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For an extra crunch, add sliced red onions or pickles inside the wrap before rolling.
  • Use grilled or rotisserie chicken as a convenient shortcut to prepare the filling.
  • These wraps can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375ยฐF for 5 to 7 minutes until crispy instead of using the skillet method.
