- 1 cup candy corn
- ½ cup candy corn pumpkins
- ½ cup Reese’s peanut butter mini pumpkins
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces
Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate peanut butter mixture: Combine the salted butter, creamy peanut butter, and milk chocolate chips in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 45 seconds, then stir. Microwave again for another 20 seconds or until fully melted. Stir thoroughly to combine and then add the vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Coat the cereal: Pour the rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the cereal and gently stir with a spatula until every piece is coated evenly without breaking the cereal.
- Coat with powdered sugar: Transfer half of the coated cereal into a large gallon-sized Ziplock bag. Add half of the powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake vigorously until the cereal is thoroughly covered. Pour into a large bowl. Repeat with the remaining cereal and powdered sugar for an even coating.
- Add the candy mix-ins: Gently fold in the candy corn, candy corn pumpkins, Reese’s peanut butter mini pumpkins, and Reese’s Pieces into the sugar-coated cereal mixture, ensuring even distribution without crushing the candies.
