Ingredients
Scale
Biscuits
- 1 can (8-count) Pillsbury Grands! flaky layer biscuits
Cheese Filling
- 8 pieces mozzarella cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
Garlic Butter Topping
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easy.
- Prepare Biscuits: Separate the biscuit dough pieces and use your hands to slightly flatten each biscuit to make it easier to wrap around the cheese.
- Stuff with Cheese: Place a 1-inch cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough around the cheese cube and pinch the edges to seal the cheese inside completely.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place each sealed dough ball seam-side down on the lined baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
- Make Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Stir well to incorporate all flavors evenly.
- Brush Biscuits: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of each sealed biscuit ball, ensuring they are well coated for maximum flavor and golden color.
- Bake: Bake the cheese bombs in the preheated oven for 13–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed up and have turned golden brown on top.
- Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve immediately while the cheese is melty and delicious.
Notes
- Use fresh mozzarella for the best creamy and melty texture inside the biscuits.
- Make sure to pinch the dough edges tightly to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
- You can substitute dried parsley if fresh is unavailable, but fresh parsley brightens the flavor more.
- Serve these cheese bombs warm as they taste best with gooey cheese and crispy biscuit outer layer.
- For a spicy twist, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture before brushing.
