Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Add the fresh lemon juice, honey (or vegan substitute), 1 cup of water, and pomegranate arils into a blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Strain Mixture: Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a jug or pitcher to remove the pulp and seeds, resulting in a smooth lemonade base.
- Adjust Dilution: Stir in 3 to 4 cups of water or sparkling water according to your taste preference to achieve the desired level of tartness and sweetness.
- Serve: Pour into glasses, garnishing with lemon slices, ice cubes, and extra pomegranate arils for visual appeal and added texture. Enjoy chilled.
Notes
- You can substitute pomegranate arils with pomegranate juice, but using arils gives a fresher taste and texture.
- Honey can be replaced with agave syrup or maple syrup to keep it vegan.
- Adjust the amount of sparkling water to taste for either a more fizzy or still beverage.
- For extra chill, refrigerate the blended mixture before adding sparkling water and serving.
