Ingredients
Scale
Broth
- 4 cups water
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Noodles and Garnishes
- 200 g ramen noodles
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 slices nori (dried seaweed)
Instructions
- Prepare Broth: In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Stir well to combine and create the flavorful broth base.
- Cook Noodles: Add 200 grams of ramen noodles to the boiling broth and cook according to package instructions, usually around 3-4 minutes, until tender but still slightly firm. Once cooked, strain the noodles to remove excess water and divide them evenly into serving bowls.
- Assemble and Garnish: Pour the hot broth over the noodles in each bowl. Top with finely chopped green onions and place 1 slice of nori on the side or on top for added flavor and texture. Serve immediately to enjoy the comforting warmth.
Notes
- You can add a soft-boiled egg or cooked meat for extra protein.
- Adjust salt and soy sauce to taste if you prefer a saltier or milder broth.
- Use fresh ramen noodles if available for better texture.
- Nori can be torn into smaller pieces for easier eating.
- Serve immediately as noodles tend to absorb broth and become soggy over time.
